LIFE IS ALL ABOUT TEAMWORK
Have you watched Dancing with Stars? Did you ever wish or dream of being on that stage? What is the dream available right now?
Competitive dancing is a style of dance in which performance and dance competition are the main focuses. Single, Couples and Group competitors perform one or several different dances in front of judges who evaluate and score each routine.
This takes the practical enjoyment of social dancing and places the emphasis on performance. Similar to other individual sports, like running, tennis, golf or cycling – competitive dancing is for anyone that enjoys Ballroom and Latin dancing and would like to explore events outside of everyday recreation.
Stepping up in front of an audience to wow a group of people and a board of judges can appear to be a distant dream, yet it doesn’t have to be. Anybody can learn to dance at the competitive level with sufficient dedication as well as the guidance of professional instructors. The specialists show dancers of all ages, and even a learner can begin by taking the most basic classes and working their way up to become a competitive dancer.

The environment allows you to connect with different dancers and individuals from the professional dance industry, which will help in your growth as a dancer. This opens up chances to join a dance team, get a scholarship, meet new people and add a valuable contribution – all in one place. The vast majority of dance competitions push you to accomplish your personal best and your performance will progress.
The dance competition is educational
Everyone may go to these competitions to compete or to watch standards of dance and artistic skill. Watching your peers compete can be as motivating as it is educational. New dance moves, as well as the observation of style or dramatic artistry, give you superior knowledge of how to manage your very own routine. Peers and judges are both important resources in enhancing your technique for another reason: they give you valuable feedback. Win or lose, competing allows you to gauge your skill level and keep tabs on your development with the judge’s assessment or comments from the peers.
A dance competition is rewarding
Competitions offer participants the opportunity to show their skills and receive valuable critiques from professional dancers; however, they additionally require a huge level of responsibility. In spite of the time, as well as the cost, of competitions themselves, dancers should devote a lot of time and concern into getting ready. This incorporates taking lessons and rehearsing technique and style. Costumes, music and routines should likewise be prepared. Watch your confidence grow after every competition, as you will advance to a higher level and competing will become enjoyable and powerful experience” After each performance, you’re stepping up to a level where you have never been before, where your default level becomes higher, with greater confidence and from this point you are a different person. It’s impossible to get the same progress on lessons and only possible on the stage or competition floor.

“Embrace the passion and spread the love of dancing.”
Teachers at Galaxy Dance are very passionate. They are competitors themselves and they share knowledge on their own learnings as well as from former ballroom champions. I am grateful for their support during preparation for competition. I especially learn more about myself and my body, overcome challenges and learn how to dance my best without overloading my weaker knee. I feel a sense of achievement.
