What if your child can compress 1-2 month training program only into 2-3 days?
It’s all about immersing and compressing weeks and months into days. This is a great way to develop and increase the skills of your child – dancing, learning, acting, preparing for an audition and/or competition, making new friend and having fun!
Excel critical thinking, task solving, discovering multiple solutions and building/following a personal action system.
Control and balance are key – they help develop a child’s executive functions (cognitive control), build greater focus, juggle multiple camp tasks, adapt to changing conditions and balance fun and social engagements.
What else is important for children? Becoming a team player. Learn to artistically perform, express, create various emotional images and build teamwork skills.
Galaxy Dance has turned my dreams into reality, through my own child, because I never had the opportunity to dance when I was young. My daughter developed her natural talents, grew in confidence, and performed successfully. My husband and I are very proud of her, and I have cried many times watching her perform. I have loved these hours, watching her become a graceful young woman. Thank you, Galaxy Dance!
Choosing Galaxy Dance was truly the best decision I made for my child. The teachers and coaches are very professional, take great care of the students’ well-being, practice good posture, create presentations, encourage building confidence, have an engaging atmosphere in which to interact with children and allow my daughter to be happy and follow her dreams. After having competed, my child’s daily habits and attitude changed, she learned life-long values, including respecting her opponents, caring for her teammates and developing self-discipline, which brought her to higher levels. I highly recommend Galaxy Dance to everyone!
It is very difficult to find such dedicated coaches as those at Galaxy Dance. We are extremely happy and surprised at how quickly our daughter was able to progress. In 6 months, she started participating in her first competition, and in one year won first place. It is such an extreme joy to look at all their students, because they are always among the best participants at any competition.
Every camp is designed specifically for particular groups. Students will explore music, history and the basics of popular ballroom and Latin-American dances. Performing, acting and creating emotional images with physical activities make for a fast learning process. With the camp’s environment and practices, children have developed better coordination, enhanced their cardiovascular strength and endurance, built confidence, improved posture and balance and learned social values and etiquette. It’s an excellent combination of sport and artistic expression for children, because its unique programs – with a mixture of mental, physical and social skills learned in dance camp – boost their skills and personalities.
“Life is all about teamwork.”
Training camps are designed to help children work as a team, learn more about interpersonal ways of thinking and become a part of the community. They also will build social skills and improve self-esteem and confidence.
Communication and social and emotional skills are all strengthened when children learn to work as a team. When children dance, they are involved in physical activity, learning and having fun.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Training provides the opportunity to fully immerse oneself in all things dance: the history of music and dance, dance basics, physical activity, performing, acting, creating emotional images, building social skills, critical thinking and enhancing self esteem and confidence. You will participate in a mixture of mental, physical and social exercises that boost skills and explore and maximize your own unique abilities.
Training Camp comprises multiple hours (or sometimes days) of immersion on specially designed programs for physical, mental and practical well being, which helps build particular skills much faster compared to a master class with only one hour of a dance program focusing on learning dance steps, technique and positions.
Every one day, two day, or longer camp experience could be different, so everyday, plan on bringing the basics: dance shoes and clothes, sport shoes and attire, a yoga mat, water bottle and snacks.
Training camp is anywhere from a few hours to a few days or even a week.
It depends. Training camp includes: ballroom dance techniques, physical activities, mental exercises, games, lectures, motivational drills and more.
Children may have a few 5 – 10 minute breaks. There may also be a longer break depending on camp type. Breaks are for rest, snacks, and changing clothes for next chapter.
It is best to bring water and fruit for shorter camp sessions – enough to provide energy during training while still feeling light. Heavy food is not allowed unless it is a long day or multiple day program.
